Programme status

The inaugural cohort has been completed and its principal learning and policy outputs are now publicly available. OpenSchool Initiative has published the Replication Playbook, the Cohort 1 Capstone Project Portfolio and a five-publication policy collection to support responsible adaptation by institutions across Africa.

From Cohort 1 to an open policy resource collection

Cohort 1 of the AI Literacy Fellowship for African Policymakers has produced a field-tested Replication Playbook, a foundational portfolio of eight capstone projects and five open publications for designing, debating, teaching and implementing context-relevant AI governance. The resources are openly available for responsible reuse, adaptation and citation.
